I am self-taught and work from my studio in Margate, Kent; a space offered to me by Tracey Emin in 2022.

I work in ceramics; appreciating the physicality and diversity of the medium. One of my main focuses is making tiles, I love this marriage of art and craftsmanship. I create illustrations from my mind and sketches of life around me.

I make a plethora of objects, plates, jugs, vases, and sculptural work. Often with tongue-in-cheek humour.

The slow process of ceramics compliments my innate urge to rush, whist creating artwork that is ‘useful’ relieves the female guilt of creating something that, arguably, in its’ truest form may not be considered necessary.

I handmake tiles, as well as drawing and painting on paper, canvas and murals; I love the combination of 2D and 3D, working with shape, perspective and form.

Major themes throughout my work are domesticity, feminism, motherhood, grief, and identity.
